Drawing down the moon
"Drawing down the moon" is seeing a reflection of
the moon in any form of water (a pond, a puddle,
the sea) or a mirror. You can use a bowl of water
or a hand mirror to draw down the moon and cast
moon magic. On the night of a full moon, cut a ci-
rcle from a piece of clean, white paper to represent
the full moon. In ink, write the name of your lover
backwards on the moon shape and place it in front
of the mirror. Write your own name backward on
the reverse side. The one you love will love you in return.
